Privacy policy

This policy describes the publisher’s data practices for AI Expert for 3D Concrete Printing, authored by Taihao Han and submitted under the verified developer identity The Curators of the University of Missouri.

Plugin conversations and reference retrieval

The bundled plugin does not separately store conversations or user-uploaded files. When the hosted reference service is connected, it receives the search terms, reference identifiers, page ranges, or dataset row requests needed to answer a reference query. It does not need the full conversation or a user-uploaded file. The service processes those requests to retrieve curated scientific sources and does not intentionally save query histories, user conversations, or user uploads.

Hosted scientific references

The hosted service stores the publisher’s curated scientific references and experimental databases. It returns bounded extracted text and spreadsheet values. Access is initially restricted to the publisher; broader availability depends on the service’s access settings and plugin publication. Connecting the service uses the platform’s authentication process. Platform and hosting providers may process authentication information and technical operational logs under their own policies.

ChatGPT and hosting

The plugin runs within ChatGPT. Platform processing, retention, deletion, and account controls are governed by the platform’s policies and your settings. This information site is hosted using ChatGPT Sites; hosting services may process technical request information to serve pages. These pages do not include publisher-added analytics, tracking scripts, data-entry forms, or advertising.

Support messages

If you email the support address, the information you choose to send is processed through the email service and used to respond to your request. Avoid sending sensitive or confidential information. For questions about a support message, or to request its deletion, contact the address below.

Data categories, recipients, and retention

Reference requests contain search keywords, source identifiers, and requested page or row ranges. Authenticated requests may include a site-scoped user identifier and verified email supplied by the hosting platform. The service checks identity to authorize access; it does not persist these identity fields or query histories. Request inputs are used during the request and are not written to the service database. Cached scientific reference text and datasets contain publisher-supplied source material, not user query history.

OpenAI and its hosting infrastructure process requests and authentication to operate the plugin. This plugin does not sell personal data, use it for advertising or behavioral profiling, or send reference requests to other research databases. Hosting and platform security logs, account records, and ChatGPT conversations follow the retention periods and deletion controls described in OpenAI’s privacy policy; the plugin publisher does not set those periods.

Support email may include your email address, name, message, and attachments. It is held in the publisher’s institutional email system while responding and for any retention period required by the institution’s applicable email and records policies. You can request deletion of support correspondence; the publisher will explain any applicable recordkeeping requirement that prevents deletion. The reference service does not import support emails.

Your choices

Use ChatGPT’s available controls to manage platform conversations and files. Disconnect the plugin using ChatGPT’s plugin controls to stop future reference requests. Avoid including personal or confidential information in reference searches.
